Wingmen Walkthrough

Wingmen is a strategy game that puts you in command of a group of mercenaries, Earth's last hope against the alien invasion! This airplane game features excellent graphics, a storyline that gives reason to the action, and nineteen achievements.

The objective of Wingmen is to destroy the alien base while preventing the aliens from destroying your base. You will have to send squadrons of planes and use special abilities to defeat the alien menace. Once you have destroyed the alien base, you will advance to the next level; if the aliens destroy your base, you will have to retry the current level. Your progress is saved upon the completion of each level, so you can continue from where you left off the next time that you play this airplane game.

Wingmen is a real-time strategy game, but you do not have direct control over your units. Instead, you must time the creation of units and use of special abilities wisely to give your team the edge in the battle. Attrition tactics work well in this airplane game, so do not be ashamed to spam units. The more units that you have on the screen at one time, the quicker you will defeat the enemy. Proper usage of special abilities can turn the tide of the battle in your favor as well, but keep in mind that the aliens have some tricks of their own!

The two resources that must be kept in mind are money and time. Money is the lifeblood of your squadron. Without money, you will not be able to send in aircraft or activate special abilities. Your money will gradually increase over time, but if you want to stay in the fight it is important to collect money dropped by destroyed enemies. To collect this money, hover your mouse over the dollar signs ($) left behind by destroyed UFOs. Timing is also important in this airplane game since units and powerups have cooldown periods indicated by the color of their icons. If an icon has any red coloration then it is still cooling down and you will have to wait before you can send in more units of that type or activate the powerup again.
