Flight Walkthrough

Flight is an upgrade game with an engrossing storyline. Although the game's storyline begins during the holiday season, it can be enjoyed any time of the year. This airplane game features well-drawn graphics, great music, and simple controls.

The objective of Flight is to make it to each destination in as few days as possible. There is no time limit in this airplane game, but part of the challenge is to pass through each location as quickly as possible. Your progress is automatically saved after each day, so you can continue your journey at a later time if you need to take a break.

Each level of Flight begins with you throwing the paper airplane into the air. To launch, click and drag on the aircraft. Try to throw the aircraft about thirty degrees upwards to maximize lift and velocity. If you throw the plane at too great of an angle, you will stall and lose distance. Throwing the aircraft at too shallow of an angle will cost you altitude.

Collecting stars while in flight earns money which can be used to purchase upgrades at the end of the day. As is the case in most distance games, purchasing upgrades is crucial in Flight. The upgrades that you choose depends upon your playing style, but I strongly suggest buying throwing and aerodynamics upgrades first.

If you decide to purchase the rudder and engine upgrades, you will be given a degree of control over the airplane after it is thrown. Use the arrow keys to steer the plane (with the rudder upgrade) or hold the spacebar to fire up the plane's engine (with the engine upgrade). Using either control mechanism costs fuel, so keep an eye on your fuel gauge in the lower-left corner of the screen. I personally advise buying throwing and aerodynamics upgrades before purchasing the rudder or engine upgrades, however, since a good flight often begins with a good throw in this airplane game.

Flight is an addicting airplane game that will provide hours of entertainment (or minutes if you are very skilled).
