Airport Madness 2 Walkthrough

Airport Madness 2 is the sequel to the airplane game, Airport Madness. Airport Madness 2 retains the basic gameplay and controls of its predecessor while featuring superior graphics and a new soundtrack.

Airport Madness 2 puts you in the role of an air traffic controller. Your job is to safely direct airport traffic. You begin this airplane game with thirty thousand dollars. Each safe arrival and departure earns up to two thousand dollars, but this value will decrease the longer the plane has to wait to land. Each time a crash occurs, you will lose ten thousand dollars and the current level resets. If three airplanes crash, then your career as an air traffic controller is over!

Airport Madness 2 features similar controls to the first Airplane Madness, but hotkeys have also been added. Click on airplanes to select them, then click on options in the menu to issue orders. You can also use the number keys as hot keys to select options in the menu in the order that they appear. The use of hotkeys is not necessary in this airplane game, but it may speed things up for some players.

The key to success in Airport Madness 2 is timing. One you get a feel for the speeds at which the aircraft move, you will be able to efficiently time arrivals and departures. Keep in mind that aircraft have unlimited fuel in this airplane game, so you can repeatedly divert them without fear of having planes fall from the sky due to running out of gas. If you want to earn more cash, however, it is best to handle planes in the order of their arrival.

Airport Madness 2 retains the gameplay of its sequel while slightly improving the graphics and user interface. If you enjoyed the first Airport Madness, then this airplane game will also be pleasing to you!
